A Change of Role

Dear Parents and Guardians

Over the last few months, due to some health issues, Mrs Jordan has been reviewing her role at school. Whilst these issues do not affect her ability to work in any way, she feels that now is a good time to reduce her workload and focus on the things that she loves doing. So, with immediate effect, she will be stepping down as the Head of the Senior School and will now focus exclusively on her role as Head of English and a newly created role leading our Senior Academic Elite Pathway from September, more of which you will hear about this term. For those of you who know Mrs Jordan, you will know that she is an outstanding teacher and we are thrilled that she will now be spending even more time in the classroom. It’s very good news for all of our children.

Over the next few weeks, we will be announcing a number of very positive changes to the school’s overall leadership and Mrs Jordan’s replacement will be announced then. Until that time, her responsibilities will be carried out by the other members of our senior leadership team. As you know, this team is Mrs Clayton and Mrs Lentern, supported by deputies, Mr Blackler, Miss Christley and Mrs Rogers.

Whilst this change is something that came at the request of Mrs Jordan, we are very pleased that she will be here to help, guide and support all of our children moving forward albeit in a different role.

In the meantime, if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact any of the Senior leaders at school.

Kind Regards,
The Senior Leadership Team
