The Foundation Stage Curriculum
Our children are provided with a rich variety of stimulating learning experiences which enables all children to work within the Foundation Stage Curriculum. Speaking and listening skills are encouraged and we promote the enjoyment of books and the acquisition of early reading skills. In mathematical development we provide practical and investigative experiences leading to sound mathematical concepts and skills. Our children become confident and independent and acquire a positive attitude towards learning. Creative activities are carefully designed to promote artistic, musical, imaginative and physical development. An interesting and varied programme of work is provided to stimulate the children’s interest in the world around them. Our excellent OFSTED report reflects our reputation as a warm and friendly Nursery.

This year we have seen the completion of our outdoor play area. The shelter enables us to access it in wet weather and the new flooring is bright and soft. We have bought lots of exciting new equipment which we use to continue the children’s learning journey outside. We have also been able to build an outdoor classroom within the school grounds which the children and teachers love using.
